About

Attorney Helena Hjorth has specialised in labour and employment law since 2013.

She has advised both large corporations and small to medium-sized enterprises on all aspects of employment law, including during her time at the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), the Danish Chamber of Commerce, and one of Denmark’s leading law firms, Bech Bruun.

Helena has deep knowledge of the Danish labour law system and has spent the majority of her career working within industry and employer organisations.

She has participated in collective bargaining negotiations and conciliation meetings at both the Danish Chamber of Commerce and DI, and served as assistant secretary to the Dismissal Tribunal under the Confederation of Danish Employers.

Helena is an experienced negotiator and has represented numerous companies in employment-related disputes during negotiations and conciliation proceedings. She also has litigation experience and is qualified to appear before the Danish district courts.

In addition, Helena has teaching experience and has trained HR directors and professionals through courses and webinars on a broad range of employment law topics.

Earlier in her career, she advised employees at the Danish Association of Masters and PhDs (Dansk Magisterforening). Her experience from both sides of the negotiating table is a strong asset in her advisory work.
